Biography
I received my mechatronics PhD from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2003, and am currently a professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering in Dalian Maritime University. My research interests are in fluid power, especially pneumatic technology. My current research topics are: characteristics and applications of pneumatic muscle, adaptive cushion technology for high-speed pneumatic cylinders, prototyping of an emergency breaking valve with low actuation force, CFD analysis on the high temperature fluids in labyrinth screw pumps, and rescue simulator at sea.
