HDCL host Professor Kevin Lynch for MechSE Seminar

Professor Kevin Lynch was invited by Professor Liz Hsiao-Wecksler to give a seminar talk titled ‘Human-robot collaborative manipulation’ in weekly MechSE Seminars on September 20th at 4 pm in 4100 Sidney Lu Mechanical Engineering Building. Kevin Lynch is a professor of mechanical engineering and director of the Center for Robotics and Biosystems at Northwestern University. His research is on robotic manipulation, locomotion, human-robot systems, and robot swarms. During the seminar session, Professor Kevin Lynch discussed his work on manipulation, including autonomous robot manipulation, neuroprosthetics to restore human manipulation capability, and human-robot collaborative manipulation.

He also visited HDCL, where our lab members showed him around the lab and introduced him to our current work on the Task Trainer and PURE wheelchair project.

HDCL lab members took photos with Professor Kevin Lynch after the seminar.
